May 13, 2010 I had the absolute pleasure working with Venus. Venus and I were both vendors for a gorgeous Temecula Valley Winery wedding. I met her at the rehearsal and she was pleasant and easy to work with from the get go. The first thing that I loved about her was her energy— she has this amazing aura around her that makes everyone at ease, especially the bride. The second thing that I immediately noticed was her attention to detail and attention to doing whatever she can to make her client happy. I have worked with countless officiants and celebrants in the past, but no one holds a tune to the fabulous celebrant Venus Kitagawa-Stojsic. Venus sees the big picture, she actually cares about her clients needs and goes over and beyond to work with the other vendors at the wedding to make sure that the client gets the wedding of their dreams. First impressions are definitely everything and Venus delivers. As a photographer, I'm also trying to do whatever I can to make my clients happy. With that in mind, I was elated in how helpful Venus was to make sure that happened for me. For instance, the smallest gestures can change everything; what many ministers or officiants don't remember to do is to move to the side after the "kiss". It's not a make it or break it deal in the photograph, however the attention to the littlest details like that really count. For her to know how precious the moment of the seal of the kiss is and to move aside is very forward thinking and proves my very point of her being someone that does everything she can to make her clients happy. My point in this little instance is given proof that Venus is not only amazing and what she does, but also for the very fact that this all goes back to Venus seeing and recognizing the big picture and believe me you, not everyone is like that. What I love most about Venus is her willingness to go above and beyond; this is why she is so successful and this is why EVERYONE wants to book her. Venus is thoughtful, caring and I would one hundred percent, absolutely recommend Venus to anyone wanting the best of the best! Flag as inappropriate

May 9, 2010 My husband and I had such a wonderful day!! We had a very short amount of time to pre-pair for a wedding and Venus came through for us with flying colors.She took the time (what little we gave her) and gave us a wonderful ceremony.Everything we asked for we were given.If we ever renew our vows she will be the first person i call on.Venus was on time ,professional,friendly and very helpful!!! Oct 3, 2009 It took me forever to find an officiant, in fact, it was the last vendor I had to sign with. When I first started looking for an officiant, I didn't know exactly what I was looking for since I never had to look for an officiant before, I did, however, know what I wasnt looking for. Being in an interracial relationship and coming from very different religous backgrounds, I knew I didnt want your typical, older white guy marrying us. I just felt our relationship embodied something different than what your typical officiant had to offer. As I googled officiants in my area, I grew concerened that this type of officiant was the only kind out there. I finally came in contact with some officiants I decided to give a try to, but either they told me they were to busy for me or they didnt show up to meetings or for what ever reason they didnt seem to work out. Finally, I found Venus' website. From the website I knew right away that she could definetly work out for us. I set up a meeting ASAP and when we meet with her, I knew I had to look no further. She was so genuine, kind, and friendly, with a no sales guy approach, I immediatley felt comfortable around her. I knew that she actually cared about creating the perfect ceremony for us, and this is exactly what she did. The ceremony was personnel, one of a kind and hearfelt. Everyone commented on how great Venus was, and I knew that I had made the rigth choice! I would highly recommend Venus to anyone! Flag as inappropriate

Sep 6, 2009 Venus is a great officiant/celebrant. She's very personable and friendly, has a great voice, and can help you put together the ceremony that you want to have. She has some questionnaires to help elicit your thoughts and descriptions of your relationship, and she can help you plan the general outline of your ceremony. We planned everything last-minute, and Venus was great at managing that and keeping the process moving smoothly. Areas that could be improved: The ceremony draft that she writes for you includes a lot of copy/paste from your questionnaire responses, which doesn't really lend itself to a ceremony text. We ended up re-writing most of the ceremony text, but her draft was definitely helpful in organizing the format and rough ideas. Also, correspondence is sometimes a little slow, but communication overall is definitely adequate. Flag as inappropriate

Jul 9, 2009 If you are looking for a truly personal experience when it comes to creating a ceremony that is right for you, Venus is your officiant. She really knows her stuff and is able to incorporate all kinds of ceremonies and traditions into your ceremony in order to make your day right for you. As a couple who didn't want the cookie cutter approach to their wedding ceremony, Venus was a perfect match for us. We wanted something that was gender neutral, and non-religious that also included our different personalities and backgrounds. Venus more than delivered! It is difficult to find someone who will put in the time and effort to create a ceremony that is personalized for you. Don't settle for the scripts that other officiants write and recycle for every wedding they officiate! Make your day as unique as your relationship is! I won't ever get married again, but if I did, I would ask Venus to do the ceremony! :D Flag as inappropriate
